  1. Trials, heartbreak and sadness… it happens to all of us. It's about picking yourself up and finding your happiness. The gym became mine and I'm so happy it's helped so many of you too. I have so much love for you, thank you for following me on this journey and sharing your own. Xo

  2. I love this so much! I was a gymnast for 14 years and cheerleader for 3 years and I was a rower for 3 years, I was on the Canada games team and I got awards and then I was cut and it was super unexpected and I was the only one that was cut, they just recently cut me, it was 2 weeks before Christmas and it was hard to deal with. I have recently gotten a membership to a local gym and I love it I've started my fitness journey and I can't wait to see what 2019 has to offer!

  3. Whitneyy! I am watching this video for the second time in my life, but maybe a year or so later than the first. I just had spine fusion surgery in September for an accident I had at work in August of 2017. I have started physical therapy and am really focused on trying to be better, stronger and healthier than I was when I got hurt and your videos really keep me positive, despite the very long recovery process. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so inspirational to me. (and many others!) Love you.

  4. girlllll fit or not you can still sit in bed and enjoy a little snack, amiright? I really stand for healthy relationships with food – being able to occasionally indulge – but goals are to try my best to eat minimal processed junk! Not feeling guilty about eating is key – thanks for sharing the personal parts of your journey!!

  5. It would be better if you could also show us your pics that are representative of the various phases you went through… That would motivate people more considering the super shape you are in…
And I wanted to resist this and just focus on your exercises , but just cud not any further, You look awesomely beautiful..

  7. Hello guys my name is Joana 🙂 Im currently wanting to start losing weight and getting healthier in general but I have no idea where to start I’ve been watching videos and they have taught me a lot but I still have questions if anyone can can share their tips and what they did to start losing weight and becoming healthier that would help me a lot 🙂

  8. Wow! Your story is very similar to mine. I was also a competitive gymnast for 11 years. I never stepped foot into a gym during those 11 years. It has been 9 years since then and i have had 4 children- all that took every bit of muscle I had. I finally got tired of not being fit. I just recently came across your channel and I have started working out again, thanks to your videos. Hoping I look as good as you do in about a year!

  9. Your experience is all but trivial. When you are a gymnast/cheerleader your whole life, and you do not make the team, it's your identity that is robbed from you. Tell a doctor "You can't be a doctor anymore", he's also going to have a year of misery and depression. Do not lessen the burden that experience had on your mental health.

  10. YESSS. I FEEL YOU 😭❤️ The gym is everything to me. I wake up at 4am everyday to get my workout in because I need to do it for my mental health. ❤️ I'm new to your channel and I'm loving you.

  11. This Tuesday it’s been 6 months since my boyfriend past away.
I had been at the gym and done different sports before.
But 3 months after he died I weighed 44kg … and that is almost 3 month ago and since that day I been working out and eating healthy (and a lot ) and gained almost 9 kg and you cant really see any fat .
The gym truly is pure therapy and I actually dreaming of compete in bikini in a few years .
Your are a huge inspiration for all girls out there.
More ppl need to here the good psychology stuff about working out. ❤️

  12. People have also said to me recently “you aren’t even that big” or “you already look good”. It makes me uncomfortable because I don’t understand why my journey has to be compared to anyone else’s. We all have our own individual fitness goals.

  13. I've been following you for a few months and have only just seen this video. Thank you so much for sharing this. Your channel has already been so inspiring and helpful for me in the gym, and this video felt so relatable for me. I was definitely in a sad place when I first started exercising myself. Though I've never become quite as dedicated to an active lifestyle as yourself, exercise has always been there for me when I have, haven't and didn't even know that I did need it to pick me up.
Thank you again for this video and all of the others you share. You are the sort of beautiful, caring, inspiring and genuine person that everyone needs in their life.

  14. I teared up when you were talking about the humiliation and sadness you faced when you were cut from the team and how depressed you felt. I’m so glad the gym has worked wonders for you and it’s crazy how God closes doors to open new ones. Love you and keep being you 💕

  15. So before this I thought you were someone that was always fit and athletic and went from school sports to working out, After this I can definitely relate to you more bc I used to be athletic until three years ago. I’ve been going to the gym with my boyfriend and it has made me feel so much better
